About the project

Financial education with faith, clarity, and boundaries

Free Flowing Financial Literacy is a public educational web project created to make basic financial concepts easier to understand while keeping Jesus at the center of the conversation about stewardship.

Why it exists

Money topics can feel intimidating when products, percentages, scores, fees, and financial terms are mixed together. This project organizes foundational topics into seven learning modules with plain-language explanations, browser-only practice tools, quizzes, and reflection prompts.

What makes it different

The site does not present wealth as proof of faith and does not promise financial outcomes. Faith reflections focus on wisdom, contentment, planning, patience, honesty, and trusting Jesus while making responsible decisions.

Educational boundaries

The project is not operated as a financial advisory, investment advisory, lending, mortgage brokerage, credit repair, tax, legal, housing counseling, or real-estate service. Information is general and educational. When a decision depends on a person's actual circumstances, users should consider consulting an appropriately qualified professional.

How the content is built

Core financial explanations are paraphrased from authoritative educational resources, primarily the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Investor.gov, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Formal references are available on the Sources & APA Citations page.

Scripture quotations use the World English Bible faithfully. The translation is public domain; the name “World English Bible” is a trademark used only to identify faithful quotations from that translation.

Original visuals: The interface, CSS illustrations, layout, and code were created for this project. The site does not reuse agency seals, logos, stock photography, or third-party icon packs.

Privacy-first choices

The learning tools do not require accounts, uploads, bank connections, brokerage connections, credit reports, or Social Security numbers. Calculator inputs are handled in the browser. The public deployment is designed to use Vercel hosting and Vercel Web Analytics; details are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Content review: Core financial lessons and source links were reviewed against primary educational sources on October 8, 2026. Important financial rules and guidance can change, so users should verify current information at the linked sources.
